Closure! We all have heard, used, read this word a lot of time, but how many of us really know what closure is in the true sense?? N why is it so important? Or is it really important to find Closure? I surely didn’t realize the answers to all these questions, but somehow I was practising part of it all my life unknowingly!! So, right now, it’s 01:04 am. and as we all get our brains superactive and alert when we try hard to sleep, thousands of thoughts are running on my mind. So I decided to capture them in this notepad before they vanish. So let’s start with Googling guys!! Yeah, you heard me right, googling! When we have no one to run to, we run to Google. Hahaha! Here is the Google definition of Closure – “Finding Closure implies a complete acceptance of what has happened and an honouring of the transition away from what’s finished to something new. In other words, Closure describes the ability to go beyond imposed limitations to find different possibilities.” PHEW…. that’s a pretty big definition of all time! Hahaha! Indeed!

For me, Closure is- FINALITY, letting go of something which was once close to us. So yeah, Closure is the ultimate new beginning! Who doesn’t want a second chance?? Some people out there be like, Ohh crap, we don’t want any fucking fresh start or a second chance. We are just fade up with this whole concept of life and evolution. But in my understanding, those who lost yet strive to win would want it! So if you don’t want it, you might fall into one of two categories. First, you are the Winner, so you might think you don’t need Closure as you don’t want this win to end, which is clearly dreamy! Yeah, because if you can’t get out of the hangover of this one winning, you can never be ready for the next; it might become your last winning. Second, you might be a loser, and you choose to settle with losing by not accepting that second chance you are getting! So please do the honours and tag yourself, buddy.

As you know, I.P.L. is going on something related came to my mind. Who doesn’t love Dhoni?? M sure all of us do! But why? What makes him different from others? Primarily because of that one quality that all of us admire secretly- that he never gives up! He believes in the chance till the last ball of the match; he strives to win. I can recall hundreds of games in front of my eyes right now, where winning seemed impossible. Still, Mr Dhoni managed to hold the chance and successfully turned it around. Even in the matches where he lost the game, he managed to find Closure with whatever happened. From the very moment, a loss is announced, as a Captain, he gets ready for the new beginning. N that’s something which makes him the ultimate Winner of all time!!! WE LOVE YOU, M.S.D.!!!

I wanna refer to Mr R. M Drake “The worst goodbyes are the ones without Closure. You never forget the last time you saw them, and that’s what haunts you the most.” I remember having people in my life who were close to me, leaving or walking away without saying goodbye. It hurts, sometimes it haunts too! I used to go crazy thinking and to figure out when did they walked away? Because I could just not remember them saying goodbye. They never did! So yeah, Closure is necessary. Who would want to be haunted for the rest of their life with blurred and disturbing memories? No one, I guess. N if there anyone who does, dude, there is a hell of a lot of stuff out there in the world to get that feeling. Also, remember one thing, this is something you are doing for yourself. So do it right and do it now. The Closure is always within us and not in anyone else’s hands. So, when I talk about closure, I don’t mean that you go and find that person who left without saying goodbye, do the whole drama and get your closure! Hahahah! No! If you are hurt by something or because of someone who hasn’t even apologized to you. Try forgetting it for your own sake, and if you could also forgive, that would be the best thing you can do for yourself! Some people don’t deserve a place in our heart and mind. It’s better to get them out of there ASAP. Letting go frees you. Sometimes Holding on hurts more. If you no more exist for them, it’s even better; it’s like even they are dead for you. N it surely doesn’t make sense to hold grudges against a dead person. Those who still are not satisfied with my options, give me some more time to think of something else for you! hahahah!! Yeah, because Closure is fucking necessary!! I’m ending this random blog post with a beautiful saying below- Have a great sleep, you lovely people!

“When you think everything is someone else’s fault, you will suffer a lot; when you realize that everything springs only from yourself, you will learn both peace and joy.” Dalai Lama.
